PUNK'S DEAD: The first time that I saw the Ramones I was 16. I was so sick that day. I remember i could barely swallow my throat hurt so much, but at that time I was obssesed with the Ramones so i had to go. A half hour before they hit the stage the crowd was already chanting "hey ho, lets go!" Then they hit the stage and hit me upside the head with fastest, most non-stop concert I've ever been to. The only time that I remember them stopping was in the middle of the set when Joey said, "Underneath this floor lies a pet sementary. 1,2,3,4!" I don't think it gets any better than that. Well maybe it does... I saw Joey play "Surrender" with Cheap Trick. What do you think is better? Now you got to sing "Surrender" with the Joey Ramone voice to feel the full effect. Just picture Joey saying "they just seem a little bit weird." in his Joey accent.Joey rocked. The Ramones rocked. And punk rock is dead. For real...Unless the Clash reunite!

Joey Ramone has died. I loved the Ramones. This is a sad sad day.
