No love for the blog The doctor said I need rest and sleep, and no blogging. Must follow doctors orders. My face still looks like a ballon.
I know it's a bit early, but

Good night sweet girl.

You think you know, but you have no idea. I just watched the diary of Jennifer Love Hewitt on MTV. Needless to say, I think I've reached one of the lower points in my life. So I stepped it up today and ate some chicken. It was interesting because I could only chew with my front teeth, but I managed quite nicely under the circumstances. My face just keeps on getting more swollen as the seconds roll by. I now look like i have two tennis balls permanently lodged inside each side of my mouth. Not good.

I had all these plans for my spring break which included storyboarding "Gone Tomorrow" and reading a couple books that I had to read for a paper that is due next week, but none of that has happened and tomorrow is Friday. Instead of being productive I've spent my spring break in a vicodin induced haze. Speaking of which there is a wonderful article in the new Time about Vicodin and Hollywood stars. It seems that Matthew Perry has company. Eminem, Brett Favre, and Melanie Griffith to name a few. I didn't know Vicodin was all the rage. Who knew? Hopefully I won't be the next star to succumb to such a horrible addiction (fingers crossed please) .
Somebody could have been a dollar richer.
For some reason or another my face is 10 times more swollen than it was when I went to bed. I look like a ballon. And I'm almost out of Vicodin! I only have three more left. Oh, no! What am I gonna do. I need more!

But not to worry, cause this afternoon I will replace the lack of Vicodin with some ground beef. Yum! Does anybody think it's unhealthy to simultaneously become addicted to Vicodin while going through beef withdrawl?

You still have an hour to place your bets! And you, Joe Strummer, you still have an hour to write me back.
Good night sweet girl.
$$$ Easy Money Who wants to bet a dollar that Wisconsin wins the college basketball tournament.I'm saying they will win. Bets have to be placed before the game starts tomorrow. The chances of Wisconsin winning the tournament are as good as somebody writing back saying they will bet me. Or about as good as Joe Strummer returning my email. See I emailed the Clash yesterday telling them that they are the greatest band ever. Do you think Mick, or Joe, or Topper, or Paul will write me back? If they do, I'll give everyone who responds to this post a dollar.

Hungry Hungry Hippo I am so hungry. The ice cream and the jello does nothing for me. I need some meat, some chicken. I need a burrito from Qdoba. I need some pizza. Somebody help me. I need real food!

So is everybody aware that Weezer has played the same songs in the same order during this tour? And it seems like Rivers has been wearing the same brown vest every night too.

Not only do I need real food, but I need real communication with the outer world. Somebody help!
So I was watching Extra today, and the preview for tomorrow was "the new addiction in Hollywood: Vicodin" Damn, I better lay off that stuff soon or else I'll end up like Matthew Perry. So I'm really happy that I finally got around to putting a blog up. It was one of things on my near future to do list. Or as roommate Kyle would say, my "pipe dreams." These pipe dreams also include getting a bass(got one on Saturday), starting a band( it will happen and we will rule the world), having a job/internship for January(I graduate in December. Scary!), and last, but not least, getting the huevos to talk to that certain girl that some of you know about, and that my friends will happen. I'm just taking baby steps. She will be mine, oh yes she will be mine.

After this post I'm going to try and set up some links to stuff that I like. Bands, movies, sites, etc. I think I'm also going to start a countdown to graduation and right underneath it I will juxtapose it with the days that I've gone without finding a special girl. What do you think about that idea? When the script to "Gone Tomorrow" finally gets approved I'll try to set up a place for it so everyone can read it. And when the final product is done (May 15) I'll put it up somewhere on the web so everyone can watch it and enjoy.

I still haven't gotten any guest come by with movies. Almost Famous never came yesterday. But I did see American Movie on cable. I'd seen it before, but it was just as funny this time. Uncle Bill is hilarious. He made the movie. So again, feel free to stop by with something good. And if somebody actually does you can become my new best friend.

Tuesday-Freewheelin. Dan's band post Slapstick, pre Alkaline Trio. Some great songs. I love his voice and his lyrics, and I love the way Matt Stamps plays the guitar. I'd set up a link, but the site hasn't been updated in three years or so. I did hear that they will be on a new comp on Asianman. Does anybody know if its a new song.?

Hey Chitwood! Where you at sista?
V-I-C-O-D-I-N, Vicodin, Vicodin, yeaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhh, vicodin! It was a weird night of sleep. First off, I couldn't sleep on my stomach with my face buried into my pillow the way I like cause it hurt to much. Then at around 3:30 I woke up and my nose was bleeeding. Could it be because I've been swallowing the blood instead of spitting it? Nonetheless, I stayed awake for about an hour staring at the ceiling till I decided I needed another Vicodin, took one and went to bed soon after. Vicodin makes me really hot. Does it have the same effect on you too? And I feel all floatly, which isn't a bad thing. So I'm slowly, but surely getting some feedback from people about stupid kid. First off Amber said she would send me a get well card if my name was really Mauricio. Sista Amber, do you think I would make the name up? Then somebody else told me she thought it was a cute site. Lastly I emailed Nanette and asked her for a little help. She replied quickly and offered her services and also told me to remember to double enter between paragraphs because she thought people might get scared if they saw so many words bunched together. So sorry if I scared any of you away.Anyways, go to her site. I've been reading for the past few months and she seems like a really cool girl and she's also a big weezer fan, which is nice. But thanks to everyone who has given me feedback so far. I apprechiate it and the words make me feel all warm and fuzzy inside. I'll probably write alot today cause I had alot of thoughts during that time that I was staring at the ceiling last night. So get excited and check back. Till then.
Good night sweet girl.

Where is Almost Famous?!?My friend Tali said he would come by with it and we would watch it, but he is nowhere to be found. I think right about now the only thing that could make me feel better is a little Kate Hudson for she was stunning and beautiful in that movie. Plus that movie makes me feel good. What could be better than following a rock band when your 15. Maybe I should follow a band The only thing that I didn't like about Almost Famous is that Cameron Crowe wrote it as an ode for his love to music, which was a idea I had, but then again I'm not writing for Rolling Stone so Cameron it's ok that you stole my idea. Bastard. So I wrote an email to Bob from Hey Mercedes last night in hopes that he would put a link to my blog on his blog, but I don't see stupid kid on his blog. Hey Bob holla if you hear me. Hook a brother up with some blog love.I'm wondering if I need some more cred with him, but what can say cred more than telling him to download the Travis version of "Baby Hit Me One More Time"? I figure that if this link is done I might increase my visitors by at least one or two.
So you're probably anxiously awaiting me to continue bitching about my teeth. I am still pain. But I just took a nice 3 hour nap and awoke to some Jello. I don't think I've eaten Jello in probably four years or more, but it was some good jello. I am now trying to cohorse my mom into making me some sort of Colombian soup that she knows how to make, but knowing her she'll probably just give me something in a can. I would also like to point out the fact that the car ride with my mom was probably more painful than my teeth being taking out. The volume of the lady's voice is incredible. It's the equivolent to having a normal person talking to you through a megaphone. Maybe I was just a little crabby because she woke me up at 7:15 for a ten o'clock appointment.
Now I would like to talk about something that is completely baffling to me. I am not supposed to spit because of my teeth. Now tell me how that works. I am bleeding from all four corners of my mouth, but I have to swallow it? I don't care what the side effects are, but I'm getting nauseous due to fact that the taste of blood has been the main taste inside my mouth the whole. What do you guys think... Should go against doctor advice and spit or should I continue to shallow?
Lastly, I think I'm gonna end at least one blog a day with what I've been listening to(I can't figure out how to do that in my margin so I'll do the cheap way)
Weezer-Christmas Song (Kara if you ever read this download it. You'll like it)
HM-Everyturn(can't wait for the full length)
Rainer Maria-Tinfoil. A guy and girl screaming Goddamnit together is beautiful
Hot Water Music- Fuel for the Hate Game. I got a tough edge to me too.
Alkaline Trio- From Here to Infirmary. Awesome album. Mike's a better drummer than Glen and you can definitely tell on this album. But maybe I'm being biased due to my teen years infuatation with the Popes.
That's it. Stay cool. Stay cool forever.
The fucking pain in my mouth is unbearable!.I'd give you full synopsis, but they put me to sleep. In my mind the whole thing lasted about a minute and a half. That was some powerful drug. When I woke up I thought they were gonna take me into a new room to start the operation, but the lovely nurse informed me that it was all over. I was really planning on taking out only one of them, but they took out all four. No fun. But now I have vicodin so hopefully that will help ease the pain, but as of right now it's not working to well. Maybe i need to up the dosage. I will now proceed to lay on my couch for three days, but don't worry I will make sure to update all of you on my progress since I know everyone is so interested. Oh, and feel free to come by with movies. Almost Famous is already on the way.
T-minus 2 hours. The excitiment is building. I'll try and give a full report when I get back. Conciousness permitting.

Geez, only one person has read this. I am still anxiously awaiting the comments from Kara
and Jenny Till then.
I'd like to thank Amber for being what I think was the first visitor to stupid kid. Thanks Amber. And long live the blog.
So its offical, the wisdom teeth get taken out tomorrow at ten in the morning. Woohoo! It's gonna rock. Nothing says spring break like a deep throbing pain in your mouth. Feel free to send get well cards. I can't drink or eat anything six hours before the appointment. That really ruins my plan of waking up at four in the morning to get something to drink. Oh darn.
YOUR DADDY'S ALRIGHT Hey kids! Even the though stupid kid is less than 24 hours young I still see no sign of any readers. Come on down. It will be fun. Now I just found out that the weezer show in Milwaukee was a bit more exciting than the Chicago show due to the presence of Cheap Trick. I did tell Eric that the best part of the Chicago show was when TGUK played "surrender" for like 30 seconds. But Milwaukee got two whole Cheap Trick songs with Rick Nielsen and Robbie Zander. Oh, the humanity. So on the show front I have good news and bad news. Bad news first, Hot Water Music will not be coming to Madison on the 11th of April, but Milwaukee instead. Which sucks cause the Madison show was free and 5 minute walk from my apt. but now its a good hour away and most likely not free. Now the good news, Depeche Mode is headed for the road this summer. The only time that I saw DM was when I was a freshmen in high school. The girls went crazy when David Gahan ripped off his shirt. I wonder if he still has that power. I wonder if I have that power. Probably not. Another good thing is that The Promise Ring will be coming to Madtown on the 7th. Rock on. That will be the 5th day of shooting for "Gone Tomorrow" so I can't wait to unwind that night by listening to TPR. So i will keep updates a constant this week cause I realized when I woke up a half hour ago that all my friends are in different states enjoying themselves while I'm stuck at my parents house awaiting the removal of my wonderful wisdom teeth. So if anybody reads this feel free to email me. Feel real free.

Guess so!
Is this working?

Howdy! This is the first post for Stupid Kid(s). Hope everyone will enjoy. Where to start... I saw Weezer on Friday. It was pretty good even though I would of liked if they played a little bit more off Pinkerton. A little "across the sea" or "no other one" would have been nice. In hopes to reach rock stardom I bought a bass yesterday. I've been playing guitar for some years now and I decided that I need to lose a couple of strings if any hit records are in my future. Ironically enough the memebers of the lovely Alkaline Trio were purchasing new gear at the same time I was. Stoned they were. It was a little bit embarrasing for about all I think of playing when I was trying out the bass were Alkaline Trio songs. The funniest part of the whole thing was when the salesman asked Skiba what kind of music he played and he responded with a "Oh, you know, rock n roll." Back to the Weezer concert... Too many people. Too many stupid people moshing...To Weezer. Whatever happened to some good old pogoing? The Get Up Kids were the bomb. They started with my favorite GUK song "Don't Hate Me." and ended with my second favorite "10 minutes." It was after TGUK set that I met a lovely girl whose name I do not know, but cute she was. She goes to some school in grand rapids, MI. We hung out, and did a little pogo together when all of sudden the crowd wisked her away. :( Oh girl from Grand Rapids when will I ever find you again? I kept on looking around trying to find her, but to no avail. If the band ever gets off its feet I'll make sure to hit up GR on our first tour.
I've been neglecting the wisdom teeth for some years and seems its come time to get them taken out. The left side of my is a little swollen, but the aching has cut into my sleep drastically which is a bad for I had planned to sleep away my spring break instead of getting a tan in Panama City. The fact that the wisdom teeth are on their way out is also bad for I had also planned to use this time on continued work on "Gone Tomorrow". "Gone Tomorrow" is the second installment of hit movies(or should I say videos) that I continue to make for the wonderful Communication Arts department at UW-Madison. I turned in the fourth draft of my script on Friday and I am anxiously awaiting the email from my professor tellling me that I need to revise it for the fifth time. I think its time to take some more Advil and watch how low of a seed Wisconsin can get in the tournament
